Calles cerradas en los cinco condados este domingo por el Maratón de Nueva York

Cuando decenas de miles de corredores toman las calles, el resto de los ciudadanos debería inspirarse a caminar, o por lo menos no usar el auto. En el caso de NYC, donde se celebra el Maratón más famoso y grande del mundo, renunciar al volante propio o alquilado es casi una obligación, por la cantidad de calles que se cierran en la ruta
de 26 millas (42 kms) que cubre los cinco condados.

Se espera que más de 50 mil personas crucen la meta en Central Park, además de miles que parten y no lo logran. Sin olvidar la multitud de turistas, curiosos y familiares que se acercan a las calles para ver a los corredores; y los policías, bomberos y voluntarios que los auxilian.

Las siguientes calles estarán cerradas para autos y bicicletas, a discreción de la policía de Nueva York, este domingo de 8 a.m. a 7 p.m., según el Departamento de Transporte de la ciudad:
